Summer's end

Can this really be the end of August? Why does summer seem to go by the fastest of all the seasons? Veggies are being harvested. Due to all the rain, the flowers still continue to bloom in abundance. Really lovely to see. Some of the maples have already taken on their gorgeous red colour.

A couple have just left the Rustic Cabin and I keep talking about moving in there. Living without hydro or running water. No noise from appliances around the house. No phone or computer. It has a great appeal to me. I'd go down right now but I have to be out of the house tomorrow morning at 8:45 to hear some shaman from Africa. It should be interesting.

Tomorrow afternoon I'm heading to Wybridge to visit my wonderful Grace who is about 88 now. The next day we are going to Wymbolwood Beach to visit my daughter, husband and two grandbabies who are there for a weeks vacation. I hope to go swimming with the babes this year. Then I have a few days without anything on my calendar and that is exciting!!!!

Life from the Rustic Cabin

I have a small cabin on my property - 15 ft. X 24 ft. I think I want to move in there. How simple life would be with no running water. No hydro. If anything happens to my house, I'm going to move in there.

Life outside of the cabin is just too busy. Today I organized the third garage sale for the local food bank. We made $462. Over the summer, we have raised about $1600.

I have two days coming up with nothing on the calendar. How sweet!!!! I rarely sleep past 8 but maybe tomorrow, I'll try for 9!!!!!

I've had broncitus for over two weeks. I'm not a good patient. I should heal myself but don't. Interesting. Since I believe in healing. Took a new cough medicine last night and have felt fuzzy headed all day. I never get sick and don't like it when I do.

Nothing too deep today. Just life.
